A compression test is a type of mechanical test used to evaluate the compressive strength and behavior of materials under compressive loads. In a compression test, a sample of the material being tested is subjected to a controlled compressive force, and the response of the material is measured.

Tension test using an Imada force gauge, the sample being tested would be placed in a tensile testing machine, and the force gauge would be attached to the machine to measure the tensile force applied to the sample.
