Soft-Padding Compression Jig

The PAD series is a compression attachment with thick, soft padding on the contact surfaces. They are useful when you need to measure without damaging the sample, or when you want to reduce impact at the moment of contact and apply force more gently.

Features of Imada PAD series

  • Ideal for slide-resistance tests on drawers, arm muscle strength tests, and similar uses.
  • The thick soft padding helps prevent scratches and protects the surface of test samples.
  • Not suitable for force-displacement tests because the soft padding can affect displacement readings.
  • Included as accessories in the Muscle Kits (RZTA-1000N, RDSV-1000N, and RFB-750N).
    Custom sizes can be created to match your specific sample and testing requirements.
