Rotating Torque Gauges

This torque gauge measures torque by rotating the measuring shaft continuously. The load cell’s shaft is connected to the sample and a drive source, such as a motor or handle, through a coupling.

IMADA’s rotating torque gauges capture peak values accurately with high-speed sampling at 2000Hz. They also support data communication with graphing software at up to 2000Hz, allowing effective continuous recording and smooth graph display. Dedicated cables make it possible to connect to external devices like PLCs, and multiple external output options are available.

What is a Rotating Torque Gauges?

A rotating torque gauge is a device used to measure the twisting force (torque) applied to a rotating object, such as a motor shaft, screw, or handle. It helps check how much force is needed to turn something while it is spinning.

Types Of Rotating Torque Gauges

High Functionality Type Rotating Torque Gauge

HTGA-RT-5N

torque tester, imada

The high-function torque gauge measures torque up to 5N-m (500N-cm). It can measure torque on samples that rotate continuously over 360 degrees, such as gears and rollers. The HTGA series includes all HTGS functions plus extra features like angle input/output and 1st/2nd peak detection.

Standard Type Rotating Torque Gauge

HTGS-RT-5N

HTGS-RT-5N

Standard rotating torque gauge for measuring torque up to 5N-m (500N-cm). It can measure torque on samples that rotate continuously over 360 degrees, like gears and rollers. With high-speed sampling at 2000 Hz, it provides reliable results for both peak measurement and graphing when used with the optional software.
