Plug-in for Force Recorder Next Series (For Yarn Tenacity Test)

The Yarn Tenacity Testing Module functions as a plug-in for the Force Recorder Next Series. It automatically converts force values measured during yarn strength testing into yarn tenacity, based on the yarn’s fineness in tex. The results are displayed clearly for easy analysis. Users can also switch the graph view, changing the Y-axis between tenacity and force, and the X-axis between stretchability and displacement. This module aligns partially with yarn and fiber testing standards, including JIS L1095. Please note that the Download Card Basic is required to use this feature.

Features of Yarn Tenacity Testing Module

• Automatically calculates and shows yarn tenacity to assess tensile strength during yarn testing. It also calculates and displays stretchability and stretch rate based on the sample’s initial length and measured displacement.

• Yarn tenacity units can be selected as N/tex, cN/tex, N/dtex, or cN/dtex. Stretchability can be displayed as a dimensionless value or as a percentage.

• Yarn tenacity helps adjust for variations in fiber thickness, allowing more accurate comparisons between samples.

• Yarn tenacity data can be exported using dedicated report formats or saved in CSV format for further analysis.
