How to choose a suitable unit for your requirement of force measurement unit.

Imada offers three units for its force gauges: Newton-meters (N), Kilogram-force (Kgf), and Pound-force (lbf). The manual force gauge line consists of five series: FB, PS, PSM, PSH, and UKT/UKK. When choosing a manual/analog push pull gauge, you can select a force gauge with the desired capacity and unit, which then determines the model number. For example, if you require a capacity of 30 with a kilogram-force unit, the Imada force gauge model would be 30Kgf, and with a type of PSH, the complete model would be PSH-30K.

Imada in India also offers four types of digital force gauges: DSV, DST, ZTS, and ZTA. The model numbers for digital push pull gauges all end with “N”. Imada offers a variety of capacity ranges, including 2, 5, 20, 50, 100, 200, 500, 1000, 2500, and 5000. To select a model, choose the desired capacity and add “N” as the unit, such as 100N for a capacity of 100. The complete model would then be ZTS-100N, depending on the type.

• Turn off the force gauge completely
• Press and Hold Menu Button and On/Off button together
• Select Units
• Use the up and down arrows to navigate and select your desired unit, then press the menu button to confirm and apply the change
• Go back to display and check if the units have been changed
